I had the best long weekend in Santa Fe with girlfriends. We had TOO MUCH fun!!! I cannot not recommend Santa Fe enough for a trip if you haven’t been. This was my second time to go with girlfriends & I am dying to go back with my husband! Sharing below a few of our favorite restaurants we ate at during our trip!
La Choza
Santa Fe is famous for its signature margarita “the Silver Coin”. La Choza has the best Silver Coin! The (mexican) food is also amazing! The atmosphere is nothing special, but the food and drinks definitely are!
Gruet Winery Tasting Room
10/10 recommend stopping by the Gruet Winery. Their Rose is fabulous and they have a cute little patio too! Reservations recommended.
La Casa Sena
Located on the plaza in Santa Fe, the outdoor courtyard patio is gorgeous with lights on the trees, giant umbrellas, and chandeliers hanging everywhere. We snacked here and relaxed on the patio. Order the frozen Rose!
Il Vicino – Wood Oven Pizza
If you are looking for a break from Mexican food, the pizza here was delicious. They have this oil for their pizza that was to DIE for, I should’ve bought a bottle to bring home. It’s not the most exciting or cute atmosphere, but does have a patio. (this was our hottest day and we ate inside for a break from the heat)
Herve Wine Bar
Another fun wine bar! The staff here was so kind & attentive. They had great appetizers too, we loved their food menu. Great atmosphere, feels like your outside!
Julia, A Spirited Restaurant & Bar
Located inside the hotel La Posada de Santa Fe, this bar was one of my favorites. The bartenders were so nice, were friends since middle school, and had been working there for years. If you are hitting the afternoon slump, their espresso martinis were fabulous. We didn’t eat here but the food looked great. The hotel is said to be haunted. They also have an outdoor patio.
Luminaria (located at the Inn & Spa at Loretta)
The patio at Luminaria is beyond dreamy. We came for brunch and it was fabulous. The portions are very large, we were glad we split entrees. Make a reservation if you want a spot on the patio.
Two of my favorites we didn’t make it to on this trip were The Shed (Mexican food) and Clafoutis (the cutest bakery).
If you have a favorite place in Santa Fe, please leave it in the comments!!

Laura
