If you’ve been following along for a while, you know I am obsessed with this Free People sweater. It is so soft and cozy, I have it in ivory and purple, and my sister-in-law has it in the peach color! You can dress it up for dinner or wear it casual with leggings and uggs. Today we are headed to lunch at one of my favorite casual spots near Beaver Creek – Lark Burger!! The truffle fries are TO DIE FOR. I so wish they would open a location in Texas! They have several locations in Colorado, so if you are in the area be sure to check it out!
As you saw on my last blog post, we have been enjoying time in Beaver Creek over the past week with family and I wanted to share a few of our favorite places to eat that we have discovered over the years.
Columbine Cafe & Bakery: a great spot for breakfast or lunch. The baked goods, sandwiches, and quiche are all fabulous!
Blue Moose Pizza: located in Beaver Creek Village & Vail Village. The pizza is really good and they have a full bar. Great spot for lunch or dinner, and very kid friendly!
Beaver Creek Chophouse: in Beaver Creek Village & Vail Village. It is in the perfect location at the bottom of the mountain to stop in for lunch while skiing. They have a huge variety on their menu and great cocktails (I always order a white russian here!).
The Gashouse Restaurant & Bar: perfect for a big dinner after a long day of skiing! The portions are big, and the atmosphere is fun and unique. They are famous for their game and a great spot if you are craving a steak!
Sweet Basil: one of Lee’s grandmothers favorite spots. Located in Vail Village. We love going there for lunch! It is right next door to Lululemon, which is so convenient if you forgot any Lulu necessities at home! ๐
Almresi Restaurant: OBSESSED! We stopped here for our first time this trip for lunch and I cannot wait to go back next year and bring Lee with me! It is the cutest place, the entire staff is from Germany, and the atmosphere is fabulous. It was one of our favorite memories of the trip because it was such a unique experience, we felt like we had been transported to Germany! If you go, you must try the Flammkuchen as an appetizer! It will not disappoint ๐
The Little Diner: located in Vail Village. If you are looking for a delicious breakfast or to cure a hangover – the Little Diner is your spot! The food is so good! Due to the very small space, there is typically a wait. They will get your number and you can walk around the village and shop while you wait. Breakfast is served all day! We love this spot and I am sad we didn’t make it back this year!
The Ritz Carlton Bachelor Gulch: The Ritz is right down the road from KayKay’s house so we love to stop by for lunch or go after dinner for cocktails in one of the many bars. I love the atmosphere and they have a real life St. Bernard mascot named Bachelor that you will see around the hotel! If you are looking for a hotel – the Ritz is my favorite!
TiAmo: FABULOUS Italian food. The perfect date spot with a very intimate feel. Highly recommend!!
I think I will stop there, I could definitely keep going!! If you are planning a trip to the Beaver Creek/Vail area, please feel free to reach out if you need any recommends! I am happy to help. ๐
