This month was such a blur of craziness it’s hard to remember everything that happened! We went to Abilene to visit Lee’s dad’s side of the family, my best friend came and stayed with us for the weekend and surprised us with the news that she is pregnant (!!!), we had a blast celebrating Easter and Lee turning 29! I’m sure I am forgetting things, but needless to say we had a great month!
Changes
This stage is SO MUCH FUN! Charlotte is into everything and keeping us on our toes for sure. It’s kind of crazy how her personality has really stayed the same since she was a baby. She is so chill, easy-going, pretty much always happy, snuggly and sweet as can be! She loves walking with assistance, crawling everywhere and pulling up on everything. She is shy and it takes her a little bit before she warms up to new people!
It’s such fun trying new foods with Charlotte all the time and seeing what she really likes. She is obsessed with our dog Lola! And, Lola is starting to like her a lot more since she drops so much food! Charlotte’s favorite foods are eggs and avocado.
Favorite Products
I can definitely tell Charlotte’s attention span is SO short right now. She gets sick of a toy very quickly and moves on to the next thing. Her bath toys seem to be her favorite of anything right now. I got her this cupcake set for Easter based on recommendations from a few friends and it keeps her so entertained. The cupcakes did smell very chemically when they first arrived. I let them sit outside for several days in the fresh air and then cleaned them with Thieves Household Cleaner.
Schedule
I can’t remember when exactly we dropped the catnap at the end of the day. It has been mostly a good thing and I feel like she is taking better naps and sleeping more since dropping it. The only thing thing I miss about it is that it was the perfect time for me to get dinner ready so that has been a challenge! A lot of people get stressed about nap transitions, but it was very obvious Charlotte didn’t want/need the nap anymore so it was pretty easy to drop it!
She eats a zillion times a day so it is definitely a challenge trying to come up with a variety of things to feed her. Madaleigh Blog (Instagram is: @madaleighblog) has been a huge help to me and has highlights saved on her Instagram of what her baby ate at each age/stage! If you are looking for ideas or don’t have a clue where to start – her blog and Instagram are a great resource! Still planning on doing a full post on introducing solids… to be continued! 🙂
Always feel free to email me or leave a comment if you have any questions I might be able to help with! Hope you all have a great weekend.

Laura
