I truly cannot believe Charlotte is eight months old. Time is going by way too fast. She is changing so much! We took Charlotte to Lee’s family ranch for the first time and it was so fun to finally get to take her out there! After leaving the ranch Charlotte (and several others that were there) got hit really hard with a stomach virus. It was rough my friends, but we made it out alive and she is back to normal! 🙂
Changes
This month she went from inch worming across the floor (with her tummy down) to full on crawling. I can’t leave her alone for even a second or she is getting into something she shouldn’t! We still need to baby-proof the house! She is pulling up on everything and I think she will be walking before we know it!
We read “Goodnight Moon” every night before bed and one night that she was fussing on the changing table, I started reciting the words to “Goodnight Moon” and she instantly stopped fussing and started smiling and giggling. It was pretty much the cutest thing ever, I couldn’t believe that she knew the words! This has become my new trick to get her to stop crying or smile for a photo!
Favorite Products
Now that she is pulling up so much we bought her this toy and she loves it! I think she will play with this for a long time. We had a play date yesterday with a baby the same age and he loved playing with it too!
She has loved “lift a flap” books for a while now and I keep forgetting to share them! Sharing a few of her favorites below.
Schedule
We are still following the exact same schedule from last month. It has been working really well for us and I can definitely tell that the days we stick more to the schedule, she is happier and sleeps better!
I feel like a new person since the weather has warmed up and we are able to get outside more often. Spring is my absolute favorite season and we have so many fun things planned over the next couple of months. Looking forward to sharing more with you all.
