We (especially me!) are so excited our baby is a GIRL! Our doctor does a 16 week appointment where you can find out the gender. Since we did not do the 10 week genetic testing (where you can find out early) we opted to find out at the 16 week appointment. We found out on a Thursday and our gender reveal party was planned for that Saturday. I wanted to be surprised at the party but my husband refused, he had to know right away!
We found out during the sonogram we were having a girl! I thought the baby was a girl the entire time and would have been so shocked if it was a boy! The truth is though, you really just don’t know!! 50/50 chance haha! Lee was definitely more surprised than me. I think we were both in a little bit of shock! We got in the car and as it started to sink in I started to cry I was so happy! Gotta love those pregnancy hormones! It has been so fun to finally start buying outfits and start planning the nursery!
Our gender reveal party was so much fun! I wish I would’ve taken more pictures but was too wrapped up in everything going on! It was so fun to surprise all of our friends and family with the news! 🙂 We bought confetti canons from Etsy to do the reveal and it was SUCH an epic fail! My advice is always buy one or two first to test it out! You live and you learn 🙂
I am still feeling really good and am so excited to meet our little nugget! August hurry up!
