I definitely struggled with what to give Liza this year since we already have so many toys she can play with from Charlotte. Obviously she doesn’t know, but I still wanted to get her a few things anyway!
I recently signed up for the LoveEvery toy subscription, which has been amazing! If you haven’t heard of it, it is Montessori style educational toys. They come with a booklet of instructions for things to be doing with your child for their current age. It’s really neat and she loves it! The next box is coming right before Christmas so I will put it under the tree.
She is also getting this set of wooden blocks. I am a big fan of wooden toys and the Le Toy Van brand is one of my favorites. I realized we didn’t have a block set & this is something fun/educational both girls can play with.
A special ornament is always sweet for a new baby. We collect Radko ornaments and I got her this one, but I cannot find it in stock anywhere! I linked another one that is precious from Lenox.
Depending on what age your baby is and what they already have, I love to give or ask for things that they really need. Charlotte’s first christmas we got her this activity center and it was perfect for her age at the time (about 5 months old).
Another practical gift is this little duffle bag. It is so lightweight and machine washable. We have these and use them for weekend trips or sleepovers at grandparents house!
The jellycat stuffed animals with a book makes such a great gift if you need something at an affordable price point! Charlotte & Liza Grace both love the books, we read them truly every day! The stuffed animals are Charlotte’s favorite, she sleeps with “lamby” every night!
I also love giving our favorite books & receiving new ones! We read to our girls a ton so its nice to have a variety! Linking below some of our current favorite books!
