Hi friends!
It’s been a while since my last update. The summer was so crazy busy, it flew by so fast! I cannot believe my baby is an entire year OLD!! She has brought so much joy into our life and it truly has been the most incredible year. I cannot imagine life without her.
She is the sweetest baby, very chill, super affectionate, loves her family, is obsessed with animals and is all around a very happy, easy baby!
Changes
Charlotte started walking around 11 months old and is now into everything. Someone told me not to worry when they start crawling/walking – that they will stay near you. This couldn’t be further from the truth for us!!! She is always exploring and doesn’t seem to care where I am. She FINALLY got her first tooth around 11 months old, and now has one on top and one on bottom.
We have officially weaned her off formula and onto whole milk. It actually was a much easier transition than I thought it would be. We followed the mom’s on call method, where you mix milk with the formula slowly and then eventually it’s all milk. She is weaned off bottles and after trying so many different sippy cups, these sippy cups have been her favorite for milk. We use the 360 cups for water but she won’t drink milk out of those, I think the flow is too slow.
Favorite Products
I plan on doing a post soon about our favorite products over the first year! This summer she has become obsessed with her baby dolls and carries them wherever she goes. She also has a doll made for the bath that she loves! She has started wearing shoes a lot more now that she is walking and her feet are so fat a lot of shoes don’t fit! The brand Angel Baby has been the best, she has and loves this pair. She also has a pair of Native Shoes & a couple of other pairs, but the Angel Baby shoes are by far my favorite!
Schedule
We are still following Mom’s on Call! Some days Charlotte only wants to take one nap… but below is typically her schedule! Like I have said before, the closer we stick to her schedule – the happier she is! I try to be flexible and not super strict about it, but her happiness is my #1 priority so we mostly stick to the schedule. Especially the bed time routine!
My monthly updates are coming to an end! This year has gone by so fast! I’m excited for toddlerhood and all of the changes that are headed our way! Hope y’all have a great week!
